Barbara joined CEA in 1999 and has held several management positions during her career at CEA. In addition to her roles among the CEA Group’s entities, in 2000, she was a founding employee for Atlantic American Partners (AAP), which provided investment banking and fund management services to middle market companies in non-media industries. Her activities include financial reporting and administrative oversight of internal operations throughout various Atlantic American and CEA Group entities. This includes the research and preparation of financial statements, financial analysis and the ongoing monitoring of investment performance. Barbara is also the compliance administrator for CEA Atlantic Advisors, LLC, CEA’s licensed broker-dealer.
Prior to her work with AAP, Barbara worked as a Senior Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
Barbara attended the University of South Florida where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her Masters of Accountancy.
Barbara is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of both the American Institute & Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also an adjunct professor of Accountancy at the University of South Florida and a board member of the University of South Florida - School of Accountancy’s Accounting Circle.
