Carol rejoined CEA International LLP (“CEAI”) in early 2010 and has been advising a number of media and technology firms on strategy and fund raising.
Carol has over 25 years investment banking experience in Europe with specialist experience in the media, telecommunications, technology and software sectors working together with both SEMs and larger corporates. Fluent in French and German, she has a substantial track record in cross-border M&A transactions in the broadcast radio, TV, publishing and cable industries, as well as raising both debt and equity financing. Recently, Carol has also been active in advising early stage businesses on growth strategy and in their search for capital, in particular in the digital media and technology sectors.
Beginning her career in Germany in 1989, Carol worked in particular on Franco-German cross border transactions and returned to London over 20 years ago as Managing Director of CEAI. She was involved in numerous transactions in the UK and Ireland including advising County Media on the sale of its Irish Radio station and as financial advisor to Omne Communications, raising a combination of debt and equity financing for a cable system build in the UK and Scotland. Most recently, Carol was Managing Director, UK for Grace Advisory, a German specialist corporate finance firm working on a number of transactions in the technology and media services sectors.
Carol launched her career as an M&A Analyst at Societe Generale Corporate Finance, Frankfurt, and later joined Schroder Munchmeyer Hengst in Frankfurt.
