Vicky Shi has been with CEA Group since 2014, managing investors' relationships for Atlantic American Partners – CEA’s Alternative Investment Private Equity arm. In addition to that, she joined the investment banking team as a Senior Advisor in 2017 focusing on mid-market companies in the technology, media and healthcare sectors, handling mergers & acquisitions, structured and syndicated buyouts, debt structuring, and buy-side and sell-side advisory.
Prior to CEA Group, Vicky was a Senior Consultant in Technology Consulting with Deloitte Consulting, where she mainly worked with C-suites of Fortune 500 corporations in the Healthcare, TMT and Banking industries, to develop corporate strategies that cover growth/international expansion, business operation (incl. ERP & SAP implementation), and enterprise risk. Several of her notable clients included DBS (Development Bank of Singapore), Bank of Singapore (Private banking arm of OCBC Bank), Vale, Sumitomo Group, DDB Worldwide of Omnicom Group, McCann Health of McCann Worldwide, Sanofi, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, UCB. Previously she served for a few years in KPMG in Financial Advisory service for Fortune 500 corporations, during which she was part of the Lehman Brothers’ Asia restructuring team.
Vicky is a domain expert in Data Privacy, having led the Data Privacy Services for Deloitte Consulting from 2010-2013, as well as Market Access to China for global pharmaceutical companies. She is co-author of “Defining Market Access in China – 360 Degrees” published in ISPORCONNECTIONS by the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR); and co-author of “Personal Data Protection in Electronic Health Records” published in BinaryHealthcare.
Vicky received her Bachelor of Commerce from University of Melbourne, in Australia. She is an Associate Member, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Australia and a Global Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Candidate.
